New data from TravelTech Show shows that 74 per cent of industry professionals will be investing in Web 3.0 as a marketing tool. Only 3 per cent said they wouldn’t and the rest remain undecided. The survey also revealed 36 per cent are interested in AI specifically and how it can help sell travel while 14 per cent are keen to investigate the metaverse’s potential to promote their brands.

The survey also asked travel tech professionals ‘If you had a magic wand and budget, time and resources were not an issue, what technology would you implement in your business today?’ As well as innovative payment methods and seamless omnichannel, the most popular answers were;
- Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Booking apps
- Automation
